NIL Data Communications Africa (Pty) Ltd. has completed their Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE)verification process and has been awarded a level 4, Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE), rating.

BEE, or more accurately BBBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) is a policy of the South African government which encourages companies to engage with activities that help black people. To achieve this, NIL, has been working hard this year developing and growing their staff, providing them with the relevant training requirements enabling them to be successful in their job roles. NIL has also partnered with a local Non-Profit Organization, called iThemba, giving them a Flip IT Cloud Solution.

iThemba provides quality foster care homes for vulnerable children and a school of excellence for children and the greater community. Located in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, iThemba is an accredited non-profit, public benefit organization restoring hope in people’s lives.

NIL has provided iThemba with a Cloud Education Solution with all the relevant equipment, connectivity and support. This has been put into their campus whereby the students can supplement their daily learning with access to approved South Africa schooling curriculum content.

Having a level 4 BEE rating gives NIL a competitive edge within the Learning Services, Professional Services and Managed Services space.
