Dejan Skubic joined NIL in 2010 after taking the Cisco CCNA training. As a student in the sales department, he first took over administrative and coordination tasks. This enabled him to gain valuable experience and understanding of the sales process, from meeting clients’ needs to preparing documentation. His efforts and hard work weren’t overlooked, and in 2013 he was promoted to the position of key account manager.
In the new role, he soon developed good business relationships with his clients, which come from different sectors – transportation, pharmacy, and tourism. Among his most notable successes is a company that entrusted NIL with the full management of their IT infrastructure. Skubic says that for the client this wasn’t only a technological solution but a change in business mindset, and he is proud of the results the client achieved. Additionally, he is also responsible for the security solutions within the sales department. Dejan’s colleagues would also point out his effective public speaking skills and positive attitude, which contributes to the good atmosphere in the whole department.
In his free time, Dejan is an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys jogging, cycling, and playing basketball. In his recent sport-related project, he tackles a group of strong-willed individuals – i.e. he is coaching a local children basketball team. You can also challenge him in a game of billiards, and when time allows, he loves to go on scenic trips with his motorcycle.
