CCNA Update - NIL v1.0
The CCNA Update - NIL (CCNA_Upd_NIL) course is targeted to engineers who wish or need to update their knowledge to the new CCNA curriculum. In this course, only new content from ICND1 1.0 and ICND2 1.0 courses is included, so the audience should be familiar with the content from the predecessor courses (INTRO 2.1 and ICND 2.3) and possibly hold the current CCNA certification, or have been CCNA-certified in the past.
Objectives
Upon finishing this course, you will be able to:
Explain Wireless LAN (WLAN) networking and security
- Use Cisco Security Device Manager (SDM) to configure a router for basic LAN-WAN operation
- Configure routing protocols for authentication
- Troubleshoot switched networks
- Troubleshoot routing protocols (EIGRP and OSPF)
- Troubleshoot WAN connections (Frame relay)
- Implement IPv6
Importance
The course is ideal for CCNA certified individuals who would like to re-certify based on the recent ICND1 and ICND2 courses.
Audience
Individuals holding CCNA certification based on the INTRO 2.1 and ICND 2.3 courses (or earlier releases) who plan to recertify their CCNA based on the ICND1 1.0 and ICND2 1.0 courses.
Prerequisite Knowledge
CCNA-level of networking knowledge and experience with Cisco routers and switches (as covered by the INTRO 2.1 and ICND 2.3 courses).
