Network Time Protocol Implementation
This exercise demonstrates the use of Network Time Protocol (NTP) in a typical design. You will use Cisco IOS tools to configure time synchronization between routers.
You will perform the exercise in a simple network shown in the figure. It has two core routers, one site router, and a public NTP server.
Objectives
Upon finishing this exercise, you will be able to:
Synchronize time to the public NTP server
- Configure client-to-server NTP synchronization
- Configure peer-to-peer NTP synchronization
- Configure NTP synchronization with authentication
- Configure time zone and daylight saving time
