Mateja Vrečar joined NIL in 1997. She started her career in sales and soon evolved into a successful project manager for NIL’s largest Slovenian clients.
She works with public companies and organizations, governmental institutions and enterprises. She is especially proud of projects for the Ministry of Defense, and for financial and pharmaceutical enterprises. These are typically long-term engagements, lasting several months or even years; therefore, her role as a project manager is crucial for the project’s success. Her responsibilities are centered around coordination of all parties involved, workflow supervision and collaboration. Through her rich experiences she learned how to keep the situation under control when complications appear and how to address challenging issues in order for a project to move towards successful completion. She relies on her great organizational skills and solid technical knowledge. Moreover, her colleagues would also claim that Mateja’s positive attitude and relaxed but sincere communication style significantly contribute to her authority and respect among project team members.
