Commitment and Efficiency Deliver Great Results
Côte d’Ivoire Telecom’s goal, as part of the French Telecom-Orange Group, is to bring the best possible experience to our customers.
In order to do so, we are constantly introducing new and better services on the market. The success of these efforts depends heavily on the quality of our infrastructure; therefore, the Group is making significant investments to deploy state-of-the-art networks in all of our branches.
Another part of this mission was the network core upgrade of Côte d’Ivoire Telecom, which was deployed in partnership with NIL and Neurones Technologies during the last months of 2012. Due to the efforts of our partners, I am happy to say that the project was successful, and it achieved its goals: improving the performance of our network and making it more reliable. We also received internal recognition, as the company awarded the project “Best Achievement 2012” in the Trans & IP department.

The project consists of migration from Cisco 7600 Series routers to new Cisco ASR 9000 Series routers to prepare the Orange’s network for new technologies and an increasing number of users, with a second goal of improving network reliability. NIL deployed the project together with local partner Neurones Technologies.
