SDN on steroids

On SDN myths, real-life challenges, and practical use cases

The concept of software-defined networks (SDN) has matured. It is leveraged in complex enterprise networks and is even expanding in areas beyond its initial use case. In spite of these successes, many organizations remain skeptical of SDN and there are also many misconceptions about it.

To help you better understand the state of SDN today, Mitja Robas gave an overview of SDN in detail in the lecture ‘SDN on steroids’. In addition, he pointed out some use cases in data centers, WANs, and hybrid-clouds.

The lecture was recorded at Microsoft NT Conference 2019.
