Boštjan Šuštar leads two workshops at Interop Las Vegas

Šuštar held workshops on building private clouds and workload management in the hybrid cloud.

Interop, one of the industry’s most-respected independent technology conferences in the world, this year celebrated its 30th anniversary. The conference provides in-depth educational and face-to-face experience that explore the fast-changing infrastructure landscape and present practical insight into how to leverage modern networks, systems and applications that enable business innovation.

NIL’s Boštjan Šuštar part of the Cloud Connect Track

At this year’s event in the beginning of May in Las Vegas, NIL’s distinguished engineer Boštjan Šuštar held two workshops on cloud computing. In Managing Workloads in the Hybrid Cloud he discussed which workload migration solutions work and which don’t. He also presented application designs that have been proven to work in active/active data center scenarios and across the private/public cloud boundaries.

In his second workshop, Building Private Cloud Infrastructure, Šuštar focused on the private cloud infrastructure design and what needs to be considered in order to deploy a real private cloud and not just virtualized servers.
