Ivan Pepelnjak named Cisco Champion 2016

Pepelnjak received the designation for his valuable contributions to the IT community.

Cisco Champions Program is Cisco’s community recognition program that encourages and acknowledges knowledge-sharing efforts. Cisco Champions are a group of highly-influential IT technical experts who enjoy sharing their knowledge, expertise, and thoughts across the social web and with Cisco. The program encompasses a diverse set of areas such as Data Center, Internet of Things, Enterprise Networks, Collaboration, and Security.

This year Cisco named NIL’s Chief Technology Advisor Ivan Pepelnjak, CCIE #1354 Emeritus, the Cisco Champion 2016 for his valuable contributions to the IT community, especially for sharing his knowledge and expertise on Data Center technologies.

Pepelnjak is a 30-year veteran of the networking industry with 25+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale service provider and enterprise networks. Since 1990 he has also been teaching about advanced technologies. He’s the author of several Cisco Press books, prolific blogger and writer, occasional consultant, and the author of a series of highly successful webinars.
