NIL recognized as Cisco Network Services Orchestrator Authorized Technology Provider in South East Europe
The status confirms NIL can successfully sell, design, install, and support the product and services tied to the implementation of the Network Services Orchestrator software.
NIL has met the rigorous requirements for an invite-only Cisco Networks Services Orchestrator Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) designation. A successful partner in this program must demonstrate the ability to properly sell, design, install, and support the product and services tied to the implementation of the Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (Cisco NSO) software.
"This is an outstanding accomplishment as it signals to the market our expertise in this important new technology. It ensures NIL has the sales, technical, and services capabilities for the Cisco Network Services Orchestrator solutions and that we can deliver the highest-quality deployments that help our customers to fully leverage the business potential of the technology," said Vasko Berden, CEO, NIL.
The designation shows that NIL has demonstrated expertise in software development and implementation, YANG development skills, Network Control System (NCS) experience, and interest as an independent software vendor. It also confirms NIL possess a deep understanding of service provider infrastructures and trends in the market toward software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV).
NIL has been one of the early adopters of the service orchestration and network automation technologies. In 2014, we partnered with Tail-F systems, an SDN pioneer and a global authority in NETCONF/YANG-based automation solution. Tail-f is now part of Cisco and the enabler of the Cisco NSO solutions.
As Cisco Network Services Orchestrator ATP, NIL is among the first channel partners that can sell the Cisco Network Services Orchestrator product. With the NSO technology we will extend the capabilities of our own programmable infrastructure platform, enhance our cloud solutions, and provide turnkey custom NSO-based solutions to service providers and enterprises.
About Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO)
The Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) simplifies the process of provisioning services in both physical and virtual networks. It decouples network services from specific components, while automatically configuring the network according to the service specifications.
The network is a foundation for generating revenue. Therefore, service providers must implement network orchestration to simplify the process of provisioning and controlling network services. Cisco NSO allows service providers to reach important business objectives:
- Faster development and deployment of new network services
- Better quality due to fewer human errors and less repetitive manual work
- Vendor independence
Cisco NSO provides a single network-wide interface to all network devices and services, as well as a common modeling language and datastore for both services and devices.
